Being a mom can be exhausting on the best of days. The effort required to keep every member of the family fed, clothed, clean, and delivered, not to mention happy and well-adjusted, is exhausting. When you add a childhood cancer diagnosis to this every-minute hustle, things can unravel quickly. That’s why CURE created Quiet Heroes, a haven where the moms of children with cancer can lay down their concerns for one afternoon to enjoy laughing and pampering while sharing a unique sisterhood.
Our Quiet Heroes have literally put their lives on hold while they fight cancer alongside their children. It takes a remarkable woman to walk that path with grace and dignity. They are mothers. They are daughters. They are sisters and friends. They are your neighbors and coworkers, and we invite you to help us celebrate them.
Quiet Heroes is an event like no other – and not just for the moms of children with cancer. This luncheon is the perfect time to share a relaxing and inspirational afternoon with your girlfriends as we honor these special moms.
Join us for a special afternoon of laughter, light, and inspiration emceed by radio host and Quiet Hero Jenn Hobby, and featuring a keynote message by comedian, inspirational speaker, and pediatric cancer dad, Kenn Kington.
Quiet Heroes would not be possible without the support of our sponsors. Since its inception, this unique event has raised more than $6.2 million in the fight against childhood cancer while encouraging those Quiet Heroes whose love and tireless dedication guide their families through an unimaginable journey. Through the generosity of donors like you, each invited mother attends free of charge.
